Prejardhja (anglisht)Etymology

Borrowed from Latin conventum (“assembly, convention”). The plurale tantum kuvíse has been influenced by the alternation vís ~ vénd, or alternatively continuing a Vulgar Latin *conventiae. Cognate with Aromanian cuvendã, Romanian cuvânt (“word”) and Greek κουβέντα (kouvénta, “conversation; word, phrase”).
